Older, Wiser, Still a Cinemasochist

Eric's having a birthday today, out in LA where he is doubtless meeting with major studio executives to pitch his idea for a Merchant-Ivory-type Victorian period piece with sweeping vistas of a meticulously reconstructed, late 19th century Bridgeport, Connecticut and zombies, starring Paris Hilton, a dwarf goat, an electrically reanimated Edward G. Robinson, and a boatload of pirhanas. Good luck, Eric!

This gives me a couple days to go shopping for a suitable birthday gift before we head out this weekend for the movies. I'll have to find him something to make up for the torture he suffered at the hands of the makers of Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest. More about that to follow soon.

Have a cine-craptastic birthday Eric!

I don't know about you, but that's a good pitch for a film. Paris Hilton?
I'll watch it.
